Graphing has been substantially improved in DC4 and you can now "drag-size" the main window. Other new features include an optional row of base-N
keys, access to the full range math functions in base-N mode, and the ability to annotate the Paper Roll.
New user interface features include:

- The User Guide has received a lot of attention, and has been stripped of its previous verbosity.
New graphing features include:
- DreamCalc Graphing has been substantially improved. Changes include...
- The concept of "Graph Variants" has gone--instead there is a new "Axes" menu option which should be much clearer.
- New cursor coordinate feedback feature, including the ability to trace curves with the cursor.
- Polar charts have been re-worked and a polar grid is now shown.
- Logarithmic plots have been re-worked and now shows a decent logarithmic grid.
- Chart zooming improved, and new animated zoom option added.

Other changes include:
- Backspace key behavior improved.
- New RMSE function added to regression modes.
- New DLHRS function added to MISC key.
- MOD base-N function renamed to REM (remainder) as this is strictly correct behaviour, and..

- If you don't have the additional base-N key view selected, then Base-N logic functions must now be accessed from the "LOGIC" key.
- The COST,SELL & MAR% keys replaced on scientific interface with MOD, LCM & GCD. (COST, SELL & MAR% are still available in Simple Calculator view.)

- UNDO key removed (was unnecessary), but CTRL-Z keyboard short-cut still active.
- Some keyboard short-cuts changed.
